UNEP-WCMC sources, collates and verifies information on biodiversity and ecosystems and then synthesise and analyse them to create knowledge fit for global decision making. UNEP-WCMC team includes Valerie Kapos, Rebecca Mant, Corinna Ravilious, Blaise Bodin, Cordula Epple, Matea Osti, Judith Walcott, Julia Thorley, Tania Salvaterra and Elina Vaananen .

INPE is Brazil's primary public institution for R&D related to space science, technology and applications, working in Space Geophysics,Earth Observation, Meteorology, Earth System Science and Satellite Tecnology. INPE's team in the project includes Gilberto Camara, Fernando Ramos, Aline Soterroni, Ricardo Cartaxo, Pedro Andrade, Merret Buurman and Victor Maus.

The Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea) provides technical and institutional support to government for the formulation and reformulation of public policies and development programs in Brazil. IPEA's team in the project includes Alexandre Ywata and Adolfo Saschida.
